Friday, July 6th: First Friday Street Fair – Volunteers Needed!

GoldenYP’s Community Development Committee is organizing volunteer signup for members (and non-members) to help volunteer during the Chamber’s First Friday Street Fair on Friday, July 6. This is a great event that gives our group an opportunity to give back to our community and the special events they hold over the summer. Volunteers are needed from 2pm-10pm for 2-3 hours shifts including setup, barricade patrol, beer tent, general event maintenance and tear down/clean up at the end of the event. Note: if you would like to volunteer at the beer tent, you must be trained and certified through the Alcohol Awareness Class hosted by the Golden Police Department. Classes will be held at City Hall on May 12 (9am-noon) and June 13 (1pm-5pm).
